Hakuba Brewing Company scientifically crafts all-natural, fully flavoured ales – just like the ones we love to drink. We want to share our love of good brews with the wider public – both those living in Hakuba and those visiting. Our small size means that we can make a constantly varying and exciting selection of drinks and most importantly, have fun doing so. Not constrained by the low costs required of the big manufacturers, we can go all-out with the rarer hop and malt varieties.

Hakuba Brewing Company(ハクバ・ブルーイング・カンパニー)は科学的技術に基づき、全て天然で風味豊かな、私たちが飲んでみたいと思えるような醸造酒を造っております。より多くの方私たちの醸造所がある白馬村内外の方と、私たちの醸造酒に対する情熱を共有したいと思っています。弊社は小規模であるため、常に多様かつ胸を躍らせるような醸造酒こそを造り上げることができます。さらに、私たちはそのプロセス全てに関わることができ、楽しむことができるのです。大手の製造会社に必要とされるような低価格という制約を受けず、私たちの情熱を共有して下さるお客様たちのために、より希少なホップやモルトの種類を追求することができるのです。

Two Dans!
We moved to Hakuba for the love of mountains. We both also love craft beers and ales, however, these were in short supply in our little village. When one of us bought a slope-side lodge, a fire-side chat turned from fantasy to an idea – "let's start a brewery, and change that lack of good local brews".

One Dan brings ten years of brewing experience and experimentation following a post-graduate-level science education.


The other Dan has run businesses in Hakuba for nearly ten years and is passionate about quality local food, exciting beers and happens to own a ski-in, ski-out lodge with space for a brewery and a pure, mountain-water spring.


Together, we are Hakuba Brewing Company.
